FREEDIVER AIDA TWO / WAVE ONE
The Freediver AIDA 2 Course is designed for students who are already confident in the water. Thorough theory and knowledge development covers the fundamentals of physiology, relaxation, breathing, equalisation, technique, safety procedures, buddying and equipment. You will learn the basics of meditation and embrace an inward focused sport where success rises when you surrender to the sea, listen and feel the natural adaptations of your body as you completely let go. The classes are small and intimate, so one on one time with the instructor is maximised. The course does include a few challenges for successful completion including a 40m DYN “distance swim,” a 12-20m CWT “deep dive” and a 2min static “stationary breath- hold.” And rescuing drills from 5-10m depth. These are fun targets, and the program guides you through the necessary techniques to achieve and eventually exceed these.
